ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP, NEPAL

Arrival at Kathmandu (1350m) Free & Easy Day. Namaste and welcome to Kathmandu. Our representative will greet you at the international airport on your arrival. Then you will be ushered to the hotel. After check-in, you are free to refresh and rest. We will briefly explain the tour program in the evening.

Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek preparation. In the afternoon, drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) by Private Bus/Van about 7 hours. Pokhara is located about 200 km west from Kathmandu and the private coach takes about 7 hours to get there.

Pokhara to Jhinu Danda (1700m): 4 hour drive and 3-hour trek Early morning after breakfast we drive to Siwai (4 hour) by Bus and start the tracking. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna.

Trek to Upper Sinuwa (2400m): 4-5 hours. We climb up for around an hour up to Chomrong. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna. Chomrong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive. after lunch heading to Upper Sinuwa .

Trek to Deurali (3230m): 5 - 6 hours We pass through a bamboo forest which is damp and cold then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climlb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls.

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m): 5- 6 hours. Today the trail climbs on past then Machhapuchhare Base Camp, which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain, is not permitted. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Two hours trek from Machhapuchhare Base Camp takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at elevation of 4,130m. There, you will view unobstructed views of mountain scenery, which is very spectacular.

Trek to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours Today, we get up early morning to view the sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayan range. After breakfast, we trek down to Bamboo. The gentle climb down through the same trail that we already experienced and we reach to Bamboo.

Trek down to Siwai (1760m): 7 - 8 hours After breakfast, we climb up gill and descend to the Chhomrong Khola. We climb up the steps of Chhomrong and continually descend to the Jhinu Danda, from Jhinu Danda, we get to enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. Transport will pickup at Siwai and driving from siwai to Pokhara

Drive to Kathmandu After breakfast, we drive by tourist bus to Kathmandu via Mugling. We follow the main road of Kathmandu Pokhara highway. It is pretty long but fantastic drive. Travelers can view several scenes, hill landscape and terraced firm lands.

Departure to International Airport. Today, it’s your final day of the trip in Nepal. On your airport time, our company representative bid farewell and wish for safe journey.
