Overview
Mount Tahan (Gunung Tahan), at 2,187 m, is the highest point in Peninsular Malaysia. It is located within the Taman Negara national forest, in the state of Pahang. The mountain is part of the Tahan Range in the Tenasserim Hills and is popular with local climbers.
Gunung Tahan is considered by many to be one of the toughest treks in Peninsular Malaysia.

6.30am- gather, ration distribution, breakfast and move to pejabat hutan sg relau
8.00am- registration, belongings declaration, breifing by guide and move to kuala juram by 4wd
11.00am- final check and start tracking to kem kor
1.00pm- arrive at kem kuala luis, lunch and rest, continue tracking
4.00pm- arrive at kem kor, campsite setting, overnight

6.30am- breakfast, repacking, breifing and start tracking to bukit botak
1.00pm- arrive at kem berlumut, lunch
4.00pm- arrive at kem botak, campsite setting, overnight (sunset view)

6.00am- peak, group photo and enjoy sunrise
8.00am- start descend
9.00am- bukit botak, repacking and descend to kem kor
1.00pm- bukit V waterpoint, lunch
